Funding Cycle Ten (2026 - 2029)
The Board of the ICCL has, following the completion of a statutory consultation process with the Central Bank of Ireland, issued its consultation document on the proposed funding of the Investor Compensation Scheme for the period 2026 to 2029. A detailed review of how the Irish Investor Compensation Scheme can continue to be sustainably funded into the future was undertaken, in collaboration with expert economic consultants. The funding consultation document contains nine proposals across Fund A and B. The proposals address cascade capacity, levy apportionment, and data related requirements. The consultation process will remain open until 30 January 2026. Details on how to make a submission are set out in the consultation document.
