The ICCL has commenced the triennial consultation process with Industry concerning how the Investor Compensation Scheme will be funded throughout the period August 2022 to July 2025. The ICCL has commenced the triennial consultation process with Industry concerning how the Investor Compensation Scheme will be funded throughout the period August 2019 to July 2022.
The ICCL are offering a discount of 5% (capped at €25) on their 2018/2019 annual levy to participant firms who sign up to Direct Debit online, and a further 5% (capped at €25) if they sign up to E-Invoicing by 31 July 2018.
Invoices for the new funding year 1 August 2016- 31 July 2017 have been issued to all participant firms of the Investor Compensation Scheme on 15 August 2016. The deadline for payment is 19 September 2016. Participant firms can pay their ICCL levy online by registering for a myICCL account here.
Participant firms who sign up to or renew their Direct Debit will receive a 5% discount on their levy up to a maximum of €25. This initiative is to support the ICCL's adoption of the National Payments Plan to promote electronic payments between businesses. The deadline to sign-up and avail of the discount is 31 August 2015. The public consultation has today been launched by the Department of Finance inviting interested parties to make submissions in relation to the draft regulations on the Investor Compensation Act 1998 (Return of Investor Funds or other Client Property). The consultation period will run to Friday 23 January 2015.
The ICCL was invited to participate at two recent Intermediary Roadshows, in Dublin and Athlone. The event was attended by over 300 Insurance and Investment Intermediaries and provided a good opportunity for the ICCL to engage directly with participant firms.
